i watched Ridley Scott's Kingdom of Heaven last night and i have one comment. it. is. SWEET. (got to work late because of it, too) though i don't generally like wars and violence, i find this movie, touching. i still think it's balian's fault why there WAS a war to begin with.
that sucks. first of all, he likes this princess enough to boink her even if he's telling her he is just a blacksmith and not a knight nor a noble on the side. and then the king "asks" him to marry his sister the princess he's been, uhm, enamoured with, he flat out refused. i mean, WTF was that?! gawd, if i ever see balian in person i'd whack him in the head. good for him he's not real or if he is, he's 6 feet under already. damnit... had he married the chit he's have hit 2 bird with one stone! o_O;; so the princess ( who was just a pretty piece of figurine on the movie) married the guy she dislikes. talk about cutting your nose just to spite your face... other than that, it's violence, violence, slow mo violence, and more violence. did i mention violence already? :lol: but really, the movie itself is not too bad... it's quite nice, actually.
now, i wanted to add more into this "review" of mine. but i am too sleepy to type. so just go watch the movie and decide for yourself if it's good or not. ;)
