i find myself in a dwelling with some complicated twists and turns with moving mannequins swivelling left and right, always springing to attention when you're within 10 feet radius... oh no, wait, they're sales ladies. o.O;; it's like a labyrinth of never ending clothing racks that is more popularly called the "Department Store."
let me start at the biginning. a few days ago one of my bestfriends told me she is getting married and the formal engagement party is on 27Feb. yes, i am cordially invited. o.O;; thing is, i did not bring any suitable attire here in makati, where i live.

thus began my journey. i am delegated with the task of getting myself a formal dress. :P i have approximately uh... 5 hours to find a dress, uhm, affordable enough and one that don't look too trashy either! :P so i kinda dragged myself to the mall with a goal in mind and a BIIIIIG helping of determination in my pocket... oh, AND *crossing my fingers* find one before the store closes! :D wehihihi did i mention i am going "dress hunting?" 4PM... woah... lotsa people milling around, trying to look like they have somewhere to go. but in reality, they have none. oh sure, some of them might just have somewhere to go to but then again, these people are . . . oh, wait... i'm supposed to be looking for a dress. . . 5PM... *hands tangled under a thick layer of clothing* nope, nope.... what about this... *seen the price tag* DEFINITELY a no, no! . . . 6PM... owww... my feet hurt. i'm not doing this again in the near future... and i still haven't found a pesky dress that'll go with my budget and look nice with my pants! >_< 630PM... closing is a few hours away and still no dress in sight... panic is starting to set in...
time to take drastic measures. . . *ahem, ahem* "miss, help me naman, oh, please." sales lady turns in my direction, "kailangan ko ng dress na bagay sa khaki pants ko." the saleslady gave me a once over and a look of pure understanding -or was it pity? seemed to overcome her. "para saan po, ma'am?" she asked. "para sa engagement party. formal dress or at least smart casual daw," i eagerly told her. the lady stood straight and told me, "dito po." suffice it to say, i was able to buy a dress, which i think is going to blend well with the pants and not too expensive either and...
*ahem* so now, i am a happy girl! i have a new dress. ^_^
